You know.. i’m surprised to see this in Sweden… seems like such an American thing to have; an xbox station at a fast food chain… so that when you’re done eating your big mac you can remain seated and glued to the TV? Tisk Tisk. I thought Sweden was suppose to be a role model and promoter of a healthy lifestyle.

Probably one of my top 10 favorite things about Sweden: The Big Bag! As opposed to ugly dumpsters sitting outside your house/ apartment building, they use these bright orange bags instead. Yes the neon color sticks out a bit, but it’s more fun than having a giant gray metal trash can on the sidewalk. It seems as though everything is under constant construction here, from repairing old buildings to building and remodeling new ones, so these bags pop up all over town.

OH MY GOD, ANOTHER ONE! ;)

5 months agoMY NEWEST OBSESSION IS WITH THIS LITTLE SWEDISH TOMTE. SO CUTE. I WANT ONE.
and I found it in Sweden.. now I REALLY can’t bare the thought of leaving… :(

Don’t you hate having to remind your partner that the dishes need to be taken out? I swear, when it comes to design, Sweden has thought through it all. Magnets for your dishwasher that say “Dirty” and “Clean” or ”Pick out” and “Put in”. You will always know whether the dishwasher is filled with dirty dishes, or if it’s ready to be put back on the shelves. I love it!

Something to keep in mind: When buying groceries, don’t forget to reach down, grab a plastic bag, and put it on top of your items. Why? Because nobody is bagging your groceries for you, and the plastic bags aren’t free!

Thanks for the reminder, Mr. Toilet Paper, you’re going to help me fix that problem!

Surprisingly, a few apples are still hanging from the trees here on Lidingo.

Well, flower shops are still ever so prevalent around town, except now they’re selling bulbs like crazy… they really love their flowers! Maybe because everything else outside is dead it is nice to have SOMETHING blooming.
